The John Muir Trail

The John Muir Trail passes through some the most amazing mountain scenery in the United States. Along the way, mountain peaks surpass 14,000 feet in places. Vast canyons and lakes add the beauty of nature to the experience.

The 211 mile long trail runs from Yosemite Valley to Mount Whitney in California. As it winds through the Sierra Nevada range, the JMT takes hikers through several iconic crown jewels of America’s park system including Yosemite, John Muir and Ansel Adams Wildernesses, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.
