Belmont Shore Christmas Parade

The Belmont Shore Christmas Parade is one of Long Beach’s biggest holiday traditions, bringing more than 100 entries to East Second Street for an evening of festive entertainment. Los Angeles – L.A. County Holiday Celebration

The L.A. County Holiday Celebration is an iconic seasonal tradition produced by The Music Center on behalf of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Beginning in 2026, the event will undergo a significant schedule change and will no longer be held on Christmas Eve Day. Instead, the 2026 celebration will take place on Sunday, December 20, 2026, at The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Downtown Los Angeles. Two live performances of the same approximately 90-minute program will be presented, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with participating groups performing in both shows. The morning performance will also be recorded for broadcast on PBS SoCal and streaming on the PBS app and HolidayCelebration.org on December 24, 25, and 26.

Experience one of Los Angeles’ oldest Christmas traditions during Las Posadas at Olvera Street, a nine-night celebration reenacting Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem in search of shelter.
