Camarillo – PVRPD’s Trail or Treat

Trick or Treat along the Camarillo Grove Trail! Answer nature-based questions at stops on the trail and receive treats! Parents are free! Dress in a Halloween costume with good walking shoes. Moorpark – Haunted High Street

Haunted High Street in Moorpark is a thrilling carnival event that promises to delight children aged 3-10. With a wide variety of carnival games, attractions, and prizes, it guarantees a fun-filled experience. 

One of the highlights is the costume contest, where participants can win awesome prizes. The pumpkin patch hosted by the Moorpark City Library will offer pumpkin decorating, arts & crafts, and a food court. Underwood Family Farms Fall Harvest Festival features a gigantic pumpkin patch and five themed weekends of live entertainment and family fun. This is unquestionably a great place to take your littles, as we have through the years. The Festival site will be filled with games, rides, photo ops, live entertainment, themed weekends, bands, and more! Santa Paula – Prancer’s Farm Fall Festival

This fall harvest festival features a 30-acre pumpkin patch and family fun.  Highlights include tractor-drawn wagon rides, pick your pumpkin on 15 acres, hay pyramids, an animal center with a petting zoo, live performers (weekends only), wheelbarrows, a corn expedition, sunflower picking, and a barrel train ride.

Simi Valley – Trunk or Treat at the Iceoplex

Get ready for spooky fun on (and off) the ice at Iceoplex Simi Valley’s 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat! Hit the rink for public skating from 2:15–4:00 PM, then head outside for treats, decorated trunks, and Halloween fun from 4:00–6:00 PM. Costumes encouraged—skates optional!

Simi Valley – Dia de Los Muertos

Join the Simi Valley Historical Society for their 11th Annual Día de los Muertos festival. This vibrant celebration will feature music, entertainment, craft vendors, kids’ crafts, face painting, and delicious food. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes.

The event honors the traditional three-day Día de los Muertos, celebrated from October 31st to November 2nd, by exploring the beautiful symbols, traditions, and imagery that signify remembrance of loved ones. Participants can also create altars (ofrendas) in the Wood Ranch Barn to pay tribute to those who have passed away.

Halloween Events Thousand Oaks

Thousand Oaks – Halloween Haunted Trail

The Conejo Recreation & Park District offers a night full of Halloween fun for youngsters.  The trail ends with a hayride that returns Halloween “hikers” to the “haunted trailhead.”  Attendees in costume can participate in a costume contest with prizes awarded in multiple categories.  The popular “Trick-or-Treat Street” will have Halloween-themed houses with treats available.  A free live reptile show takes place after the costume contest.  

The event takes place on the soccer fields behind the Community Center. This event will sell out, so BUY TICKETS EARLY!
