With hectic schedules, staying up-to-date on these elements isn’t always easy – but luckily, travel podcasts are here to help!

Whether you’re listening while doing chores around the house, taking a drive, or while out for an evening jog, podcasts provide valuable insight on travel and can help you find your way through the maze of planning and booking trips. Let us help you get inspired for your next vacation with our new travel podcast. We hope to have you packing your bags in no time!

Sharing Our Travel Adventures

Adventures await as there are places to go, things to do, people to meet, and food to eat.  It’s one stop at a time for us, soaking up new experiences along the way.  Welcome to our travel podcast. It’s a place where we’ll be sharing our travel adventures.

Our journey unfolds here in our short travel stories from the road.  So, join us as we share our audio travel diary and travel advice on our travel podcast, The Places Where We Go.

Travel Destinations On Our New Travel Podcast

We have lots of travel experiences and stories from the road to share with you. Stay tuned as our thoughtful travel podcast brings you our adventures from the road. It’s a perfect way to learn about exciting destinations as an armchair explorer.

Domestic Travel in the United States

Sharing our favorite destinations, we’ll take you to many places in our home country, the United States. As we’re based in Southern California, there surely will be California adventures to share with you. And we’ll take you to our favorite National Park, Sequoia National Park, which we’ve visited nearly two dozen times to date.

As we leave California, we have adventures to share in Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, and Montana on the western side of the United States. Traveling eastward, we plan to take you into Texas and New Orleans. We’ll even have a podcast adventure into Alaska – a magnificent place.

You’ll hear lots of ideas to inspire family travel and couples travel itineraries.

International Travel

Our passports have quite a bit of mileage, including world travel. We’ll take you to various cities and countries we’ve traveled to in Europe. We hope you enjoy our upcoming travel podcasts about Ireland, England, Wales, Italy, and Poland. We’ve hit many of the big cities in these countries and have our personal experiences to share. We’ll also take you to places off the beaten path – places you may have never heard of in these countries. We hope to inspire your interest in places that may be new to you after listening to our travel podcast.

RV Travel

One of the modes of travel you’ll also hear about on our podcast is RV travel. With an Airstream travel trailer on the horizon, we’ll take you through our shopping experience and then into camping adventures in an aluminum dream trailer.

Inspiration For Your Travels

We’re all about seeking adventure and exploring new places – and that’s the spirit we hope to bring you in our podcasts. In some of our initial episodes, you’ll hear about how family research helped to sculpt our itineraries. Other adventures have been right under our noses, close to where we live. Maybe you live close to a place you’ve taken for granted because it is so near. Hopefully, we can inspire you to travel to anyplace new – sometimes, those places are just a few miles from home.

We know we’ll never visit every place, but while we can, we hope to uncover as many nooks and crannies as life will allow. Sometimes, we’ll share amazing adventures. Other times, we’ll immerse ourselves in the rich pleasures of slow travel – all the time, bringing our adventures and travel stories to you.

Our New Travel Podcast Publishing Schedule

We aim to bring you a new travel adventure every other weekend. And we’ll try to keep the podcast length manageable so you can get through our episodes during a typical car drive or walk around the neighborhood. Take a listen and get ideas for your future trips.

More Podcast Providers On The Way

If you have iTunes or the Apple Podcast app, you can listen to us on Apple Podcasts. You can find our show among the travel podcasts on Spotify and Google Podcasts. And new podcast providers are always being added to carry our show.

We aim to publish episodes at least every other week. Stay tuned for stories on our travels, including highlights and tips to help you think about your own future travel plans.

What Others Are Saying

The foundation of the show is great research and detail, in essence repurposing the work and preparation that went into planning the trip in the first place by then describing how it unfolded, and having lots of practical info at their fingertips.
