Welcome to October. We’re officially into the fall season and the month of Halloween.

What is Boney Island?
This unique presentation is a collaboration between the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and RIX Productions. It has grown from the seeds planted more than 20 years ago by
Rick Polizzi, the producer of The Simpsons. He created Boney Island as a front yard display for his family, which grew into a massive affair in Griffith Park. Today, the event is available in Exposition Park as an interactive, light-filled experience.
Tip: This event is NOT located in Griffith Park. Don’t travel to 5202 Zoo Drive in Los Angeles; you won’t find Boney Island hosted there anymore. Please be careful of the websites showing prior locations for Boney Island.
The museum transforms its Nature Gardens into a whimsical, interactive, animated experience for visitors of all ages. Long-time Boney Island fans will see familiar skeleton favorites all over the grounds.
In the gardens, you can wander the paths where creepy crawlies, silly skeletons, shadow puppets, and carnivores from the Cretaceous abound!
