The Historical Society of Long Beach conducts its annual living history tours of the city’s two oldest cemeteries: Long Beach Municipal Cemetery and Sunnyside Cemetery. This year’s tour features stories of famous and ordinary Long Beach residents, acted out by actors–usually from the Long Beach Playhouse–in period costume. This self-guided tour does not aim to frighten but rather to enlighten folks about the people who helped shape Long Beach.

The attraction will be part of a record 42-night event featuring eight haunted houses, the Terror Tram, and multiple scare zones—making it a major seasonal draw for horror fans and travelers planning a fall trip to Southern California.
