Halloween Events Anaheim

Anaheim – Disneyland: Halloween Screams, Oogie-Boogie, and Dia de los Muertos

Disneyland’s Halloween Screams event features Jack Skellington and his ghostly pup Zero from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” It’s a must-see for Disney fans and Halloween enthusiasts alike. Be dazzled by a mesmerizing display of soaring flames, ghostly projections, and appearances by classic Disney villains, all set to a medley of Halloween tunes that will have you singing (or screaming) along. Haunted Mansion Holiday also returns in the fall.

This year’s highlights include Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.

On The Villains’ Trail Guided Tour, your tour around Disneyland Park includes chilling stories, thrilling experiences, Lightning Lane entry, and preferred viewing of a Halloween-themed nighttime spectacular!

Eerie Chills events will feature Mickey’s Trick and Treat, Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, Main Street Pumpkin Festival, and Characters Dressed for the Howl-iday.

On select nights, the show is topped off with a breathtaking fireworks finale that will leave you spellbound. Don’t miss this wickedly fun celebration of all things Halloween, only at Disneyland during Halloween Time!

The two parks also honor Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Oogie Boogie Bash will run on select nights at Disney California Adventure.

Anaheim – Boo-tastic Halloween Party

This Halloween gem in Anaheim features 11 exciting rides, a Halloween-themed Express Train, and Cosmic Vortex Tunnel. Take a walk down “Trick-or-Treat Street for FREE candy and trinkets. Show your Halloween spirit by wearing a costume and joining the Spooktacular Dance Party.

Anaheim – Cross Roads Escape Games

Two horror-themed games challenge you for the Halloween season. Will you be able to escape The Hex Room or The Weeping Witch?

In The Hex Room, players take on the roles of The Nerd, Virgin, Jock, Rebel, Prom Queen, or Detective. Your team will be divided into separate rooms where you must work individually and as a team. Not only do you need to escape, but you must also survive! Who will live? Who will die?​

If you’re up for a difficult challenge, try to escape The Weeping Witch, a spirit that lures people close by mimicking the sound of a woman crying. When people hear its wails, they follow the sound into the darkness, thinking someone needs help. Once they get close enough, the Witch attacks and slowly sucks the life out of its victims. If you choose to enter Madam Ruby’s study, that is what is awaiting you. Can you banish the evil spirit and end your family curse before the Weeping Witch consumes your soul?

Anaheim – Fall Festival and Halloween Parade

The annual Anaheim Fall Festival & Halloween Parade will take place in downtown Anaheim and at Anaheim City Hall. This event, a cherished tradition since 1923 features food booths, trucks, live entertainment, and a haunted house. The festivities culminate with a parade, featuring nostalgic floats and movie-quality costumes, celebrating community spirit and civic pride.

Buena Park – 17th Door Haunt Experience

Costa Mesa – Pumpkin Patch

Each fall, Hana Field fills with pumpkins, games, barnyard visits, a cow train, and seasonal flower picking. As the season winds down, we wrap it up with special themed days, including Día de los Muertos, honoring tradition and remembrance, and a fan-favorite Dog Day, when pups are invited to join the pumpkin patch fun.

Santa Ana – Creep It Real

Creep It Real OC is back for its seventh year at the Heritage Museum of Orange County in Santa Ana, bringing travelers and locals into a “Golden Age of Halloween” filled with old-fashioned hometown fun.

The three-day outdoor festival features more than 130 Halloween vendors, festive photo ops, live music, food and drinks, roaming spooky characters, and a nightly lamplit Trick-or-Treat Parade.

Families can enjoy free admission for kids ages 10 and under, and pets are welcome for free toocostumes encouraged. With free parking, themed entertainment, and a Sunday panel featuring Disney’s Halloweentown stars Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz, this end-of-summer event offers a playful seasonal stop for Halloween fans visiting Orange County.
