Simi Valley – Christmas Around The World Tree Exhibition

The popular tree exhibit returns with 26 exquisitely decorated trees representing 26 countries President Reagan visited while in office, plus a White House Christmas Tree. Decorations include the Caribbean’s festive colors, Nordic countries’ crystals, and traditional European trees.

In addition, the exhibition will feature a “Gold Star Family Memorial Tree. Gold Star families are encouraged to attend the Library and add an ornament to remember their loved one. Families can bring a personal ornament from home and place it on the tree or attach a personal photo to add their loved one’s name.

We didn’t stop in the southland for our exploration of Christmas Events in California. Our next offering departs from our Southern California Christmas Events geography. If you want to experience one of the most wonderful Christmas time celebrations in the state, set out on a road trip to Nevada City.  It’s one of the most enjoyable Christmas in California events we’ve attended.

Nevada City – Victorian Christmas

Welcome the Christmas season in Nevada season. The aroma of roasted chestnuts is in the air. The magical setting on gas lamp-lit streets are alive with street vendors selling Christmas treasures, carolers in Victorian attire singing holiday songs, and seasonal food and drink. Enjoy live entertainment, and you may even see Father Christmas!
